Our Quality Process
Four generations of care, one standard of excellence
Every variety we introduce to North America passes through official quarantine stations in either the United States or Canada before it ever reaches a field. This is where it begins.
Once plantlets are confirmed completely disease-free, we move into mini tuber production — working exclusively with the most trusted and reliable mini tuber laboratories in the US and Canada to ensure the integrity of all material delivered to our production partners.

While certification standards in most states and Canadian provinces permit up to six field multiplications, we hold ourselves to a stricter standard: no variety in our program is reproduced beyond four field generations. This keeps seed quality high and genetic integrity intact.
To further safeguard against varietal mutation, Hanse Seed Corp. refreshes its program every five years by introducing a new clone directly from our breeder in Germany — ensuring that what we deliver to growers today is the same high-performing variety it was at release.
